Opis kursu:
Plenary Lecture
"Project Management. Conduct of change, or how to face the challenges at CESI Group (the history behind the scenery)"
During the plenary session, I will introduce the CESI group, browse its founding concepts and publics, and highlight various points from teaching methods and contexts.
The CESI group was created in 1958 by five of France's major industrial companies, who wished to promote their high-potential technicians and to develop their employee's skills. Today, the group is one of the major professional training organizations in France. It is a higher education and vocational Training Group, which specializes in training executives, supervisors, engineers, technicians and business experts. Its training programs, certificates and degrees are attainable through combined work and training programs, apprenticeship programs, continuing education, as well as accreditation of prior and experimental Learning and initial training.
Why are we different? Certainly our links with the industrial world, associated to an original scheme, which combines theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, as well as innovative training approaches (problem based Learning, project approach) and individual tutoring. CESI was the first to offer an alternative scheme based on a combined work-training system, recognized by ministries and/or accreditation bodies. Driven by its strong values and consistent with its founding mission of promoting social equality, it has consistently provided each individual with universal access to training (undergraduate and postgraduate courses), coaching and skills development in line with the needs of companies and the realities of the professional world (professional development courses, focussing on industrial topics, construction & public works, applied computer science, management, …).
The heart of our mission is? "To support people and companies in the development of new professional identities", where there is an obvious need to manage projects and changes!
4 Workshops:
"Project Management Training"After an ice-breaking round-table, attendees will share their current knowledge in project management or project practice / experience. According to the number of participants, small groups could be organized, each group will have to select one study case, to enter a context based situation issued from various domains of application. And to solve it, the use of a project management frame, methodology or tool, is required. It could then be transferable to any other fields.
